Nick Neforas brings a diverse professional background centered on integrity and a strong work ethic to every client relationship. Through his own experience buying, selling, and managing properties, he’s developed practical, end-to-end knowledge of the real estate market and a deep appreciation for guiding clients through every stage of the buying and selling process.
Raised in Goffstown, New Hampshire, with family roots in York, Maine, Nick grew up skiing, surfing, and fishing throughout New England. He earned his B.A. and M.A. from The George Washington University. Upon graduation, Nick began his decade of military service in the U.S. Navy, serving as an MH-60S Knighthawk pilot, adjunct professor at the Naval Academy, and AIRBOSS/Operations Officer aboard an expeditionary sea base off the coast of Africa.
Moving back to the coast of Maine was always a priority for Nick. After his time in the Navy, he purchased a home in Cape Neddick. He started a family while working for a global management consulting firm, where he developed top-line growth strategies for Fortune 500 companies and advised senior executives on complex business decisions.
Today, Nick is fully committed to real estate, where he prides himself on deep market knowledge, disciplined negotiation, and—above all—honesty, diligence, and an unwavering commitment to his clients’ success.
Outside of real estate, Nick runs a fly-fishing guide service that takes him across Maine’s rivers and coastlines, keeping him closely connected to the landscapes and communities he’s proud to serve. On most days, you’re just as likely to find him walking his dog on the beach or around town with his wife and son in York.
