Shannon Baker is one of the co-owners of Anchor Real Estate. Born and raised in Wells-Ogunquit, he knows the Seacoast community like the back of his hand. As a kid sailing out of Perkins Cove, to his first job at Wells Beach Lobster Pound then becoming the lifeguard captain for Ogunquit Beach Rescue, spending his college summers honing his water rescue and first aid skills. Working with a team and being a team leader has always been one of his strengths. After graduating from UMaine his focus turned to building custom motorcycles then onto custom homes. In 2008, Shannon purchased a 26-acre parcel of land in Arundel, Maine where he developed a nine-lot subdivision with green and energy efficient living within acres of conservation land. Developing at this level involves the ability to work well with the local planning boards, facilitating infrastructure engineering and preparation, understanding the needs and wants of clients, final design, and then the building of the nine homes. Having this extensive knowledge of home construction is a valuable tool when assisting his real estate clients with their home purchases. He believes that being honest and offering himself as an "open book" has earned him the respect of his clientele.
Expanding his professional career to real estate in 2010 he’s since completed numerous transactions and established many incredible client connections with buyers, sellers and investors. Shannon is a problem solver and enjoys working within a boutique firm of devoted professionals.
When Shannon isn't selling properties, he enjoys spending time on the water; offshore fishing or starting his next development project. Recently completing his latest custom built home where he resides in Ogunquit with his wife, daughter, two Great Danes, a Corgi, and two Tabby cats.
There is no better place in the world to live than right here on the Seacoast of Southern Maine. Shannon is ready and willing to commit 100% of his time and efforts to all his clients in buying, selling, investing, or developing.
